The Last of Us Part II

I mean… It was a weird year. I didn’t expect this to go as planned. When everyone was hyping up Ghost, I should have known it was going to lose. That game is WAY better than the last of us II. Oh well. These awards have become meaningless anymore.

How the heck did DOOM not win a single award?? And I know Among Us was popular but it won the best multiplayer of 2020?? Seriously? This has to be a joke. I can’t take these awards seriously anymore man. lol

Yeah DOOM Eternal should of at the very least won the audio award. I feel this game was so undervalued in these awards it is pathetic. And yeah, I stopped a few years ago. It should be the Game of the Year Selections.

There wasn’t much here that I played or enjoyed so I wasn’t going into this excited for anything. I don’t feel like they have done great the last few years but maybe that is just me.

I can’t take these awards seriously.

I am glad I stopped really paying attention to them back in like 2014. I am not missing out on anything with this stuff.

Same for me. I try to get excited for it every year and then just lose interest and want to go back to my own gaming circle. I don’t trust these awards. They are as staged as the Grammys.

I guess winning this is good for the companies but doesn’t do much for the fans. Kind of crappy though to know these votes aren’t by the fans. Like it seems a bit shady to tell people to vote and to not publically state that nearly 100% of the choice comes down to their own handpicked selected team.

Not shocked to see what the replies here are saying. I posted the results on a few other forums and most people said the same things. I think only maybe 4 people were happy with the results. Just a shame. Oh well! I am going to just ignore these awards show from now on just like I ignore the movie awards.
